Tato práce se zabývá tématem boje za lidská práva v Americe v minulém století. Konkrétně je zaměřena na období v letech 1954-1968, kdy vyvrcholil boj afroameričanů proti rasové segregaci. Teoretická část obsahuje deskripci klíčových historických událostí,seznam tehdejších organizací a biografii ústředních osobností hnutí. V rámci analytické části bude proveden výzkum veřejného mínění reprezentativního vzorku občanů České republiky v otázce lidských práv a rasové segregace. Konec práce je věnován srovnání různých režimů potlačujících lidská práva ve světě v kontrastu s J. F. Kennedyho a L.B. Johnsonovou vládou v USA. |

Current study deals with the theme of African-American Civil Rights Movement in the previous century. It is focused on the events of 1954-1968, when the Negroes fight against racial discrimination peaked. The theoretical part consists of description of key historical events, list of pivotal organizations and biographies of main figures. Within the frame of analysis part a public opinion survey of Czech Republic citizens will be processed. The survey will cover issues of civil rights and racial segregation. The last part is dedicated to the comparison current oppressive regimes around the world in contrast of J. F. Kennedy and L.B. Johnsons administrations. |
