dc.description.abstract	Cílem disertační práce je na základě teoretického a terénního výzkumu analyzovat současný stav řízení poptávky v českých organizacích a navrhnout vhodnou metodiku konstrukce poptávkové funkce a procesu prognózování pro potřeby plánování poptávky. Téma disertační práce zabývající se systémy pro řízení poptávky bylo zvoleno za předpokladu stále rostoucího požadavku na schopnost začlenit znalosti tržního prostředí do systémové předpovědi. V první části práce je zpracována literární rešerše dostupné tuzemské i zahraniční literatury. Jsou zde zpracovány poznatky týkající se jak obsahu pojmu řízení poptávky, tak i možnosti začlenění do ostatních podnikových procesů. Součástí práce jsou základní metody konstrukce a prognózování poptávky. Dále jsou zpracovány hypotézy pro výzkumnou část práce. V další části práce jsou uvedeny výsledky provedeného kvantitativního a kvalitativního výzkumu v prostředí českých firem. Vyhodnocování bylo prováděno pomocí standardních statistických postupů, kvadrantové analýzy a obsahové analýzy. V poslední části byla vytvořena metodika konstrukce poptávkové funkce a prognózy poptávky a provedena syntéza teoretických a praktických přínosů disertační práce.	cs

dc.description.abstract-translated	The aim of the dissertation is to analyze the contemporary state of Demand Management in Czech companies based on theoretical and field researches which should result into drafting a suitable methodology of constructing demand function and forecasting process for demand forecasting. The topic of the dissertation had been preconditioned by a growing need for implementing and integrating demand forecasting into the process of demand management. The first part deals with the theoretical background which is based on both Czech and foreign sources. The terminology of demand management and demand forecasting is established as well as other processes influencing marketing management. The basic methods of constructing and forecasting demand are introduced together with hypotheses solved in the practical part. The second part of the dissertation summarizes the results of a quantitative and qualitative survey within Czech companies. The results evaluation makes advantage from standardized statistical methods and content analysis. The last part deals with the methodology of constructing demand function and demand forecasting and is concluded by a synthesis of theoretical and practical outcomes of the dissertation.	en
