dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce se zabývá důstojností v pobytových službách z pohledu seniora. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda senioři v soukromém Domově Slunce prožívají důstojné stáří, či nikoli. Práce je rozdělena do dvou teoretických částí a dvou praktických. První kapitola teoretické části je zaměřena na fenomén stáří, jsou zde popisovány základní pojmy, charakteristické znaky stárnutí a potřeby seniora. Druhá kapitola teoretické části se věnuje lidské důstojnosti a poslední kapitola popisuje sociální služby, druhy těchto služeb a legislativu, kterou se řídí. Dále popisuji pobytové zařízení pro seniory, ve kterém výzkum probíhá. V praktické části je použit kvalitativní výzkum metodou zakotvené teorie s technikou polo-strukturovaných rozhovorů, kde zjišťuji, zda senioři v Domově Slunce prožívají důstojné stáří.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The thesis deals with dignity in residential services from the perspective of the elderly. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether or not seniors in the private Home of the Sun experience a dignified old age. The thesis is divided into two theoretical parts and two practical parts. The first chapter of the theoretical part focuses on the phenomenon of old age, describing the basic concepts, characteristics of aging and the needs of the elderly. The second chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to human dignity and the last chapter describes social services, types of these services and the legislation governing them. It also describes the residential facility for the elderly in which the research takes place. In the practical part, qualitative research using the grounded theory method with semi-structured interview technique is used to find out whether seniors in the Home of the Sun experience a dignified old age.
