Diplomová práce je zaměřená na zjišťování přínosů odlehčovacích služeb rodinám, které se rozhodly postarat se o seniory v rodinném prostředí. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola je zaměřena na vymezení pojmu stárnutí a stáří, na fáze lidského života, periodizaci stáří, biologického a sociálního stáří, změny v kognitivních funkcích, sociálních změn ve stáří a přípravy na stáří. Druhá kapitola se zabývá současným systémem zdravotní a sociální péče o seniory v České republice a odlehčovací služby. Třetí kapitola se věnuje péči o seniora v rodinném prostředí, vícegeneračnímu soužití a na pečovatele. Praktická část analyzuje výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu realizovaného formou hloubkových rozhovorů se zaměřením na zjištění přínosu odlehčovací služby rodinám pečující o seniory. |

The diploma thesis is focused on determining the benefits of respite services for families who have decided to take care of seniors in a family environment. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is focused on the definition of the concept of aging and old age, on the phases of human life, periodization of old age, biological and social age, changes in cognitive functions, social changes in old age and preparation for old age. The second chapter deals with the current system of health and social care for the elderly in the Czech Republic and respite services. The third chapter deals with the care of the elderly in the family environment, multi-generational coexistence and caregivers. The practical part analyzes the results of qualitative research carried out in the form of indepth interviews with a focus on finding out the benefits of respite services to families caring for the elderly |
