dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce se zabývá charakteristikou generace mileniálů z pohledu kariérní motivace a profesní orientace. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na identifikaci rozdílů mezi zkoumanou generací a generacemi staršími, a zároveň uvádí výsledky vybraných výzkumných studií vztahujících se k problematice práce a života mileniálů. Práce dále popisuje možnosti profesního poradenství a zkoumá vývoj pracovní kariéry z psychologického hlediska a popisuje oblast pracovní motivace. V praktické části je analyzována míra kariérní motivace a profesních preferencí u generace mileniálů. Sekundárním účelem výzkumu bylo zjistit, zda existují rozdíly mezi vzděláním mileniálů a kariérní motivací a profesními preferencemi. K realizaci výzkumu byl využitý škálový dotazník.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This diploma thesis deals with the characteristics of millennial generation relating to their career motivation and professional orientation. In the theoretical part this generation is compared to the older generations and the results of particular surveys studying work and life of the millennials are emphasized. This thesis describes vocational consulting, the progress in professional career from the psychological point of view and also describes the field of professional motivation. In the practical part the extend of both career motivation and professional preferences is researched. The secondary focus of the research was to find out possible differences between the education of millennials and their career motivation with professional preferences. A scale questionnaire was used for the purposes of this research.
