dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou chudoby a materiální deprivace, tím, jak ovlivňují každodenní život lidí, konkrétně matek samoživitelek a jejich dětí. Teoretická část pojednává o typech a konceptech chudoby, jejího měření a vnímání. Součástí je porovnání chudoby v České republice a Evropské unii a také možnosti řešení či zmírnění dopadů chudoby u této skupiny obyvatel. Cílem výzkumu je zjistit, jak vnímají samoživitelky svou situaci, konkrétně jejich náhled na chudobu, zda odpovídá reálnému stavu nebo mají tyto samoživitelky falešné představy o roli státu a jeho povinnosti se o ně postarat.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This thesis deals with the poverty and material deprivation issue, with its influence on the people´s everyday life and on the single mothers and their children´s life in particular. The theoretical part depicts poverty types and concepts, poverty measurment and poverty perception. The comparison of the poverty in the Czech republic and in EU is also a part of the thesis. Poverty treating possibilities or reduction of poverty impact in this group of people are described in the thesis too. The aim ot the empirical part was to state how the single mothers perceive their situation, their opinion on poverty, and whether their opinion corresponds with the actual situation or if the single mothers have false ideas about state role and its duties to provide them.
