dc.description.abstract	Tématem bakalářské práce je aktivizace pacientů na geriatrickém oddělení všeobecnou sestrou. V teoretické části jsou zpracovány pojmy geriatrie a gerontologie. Dále je zde charakterizován geriatrický pacient, geriatrická křehkost a popsány zvláštnosti chorob ve stáří. Druhá kapitola je věnována potřebám pacientů na geriatrickém oddělení. Třetí kapitola se zabývá geriatrickými odděleními, jejich rozdělením a stručnou historií jejich vzniku. Poslední kapitola je zaměřena na aktivizaci pacientů na geriatrickém oddělení a také popisuje vybrané aktivizační techniky. Praktická část analyzuje data získaná pomocí strukturovaných rozhovorů se všeobecnými sestrami z geriatrických oddělení a zjišťuje, jaký je jejich pohled na aktivizaci geriatrických pacientů a jakými způsoby své pacienty aktivizují. Posledním cílem bylo vytvoření praktického manuálu s nabídkou informací o aktivizaci a připravenými aktivitami pro pacienty na geriatrickém oddělení.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The topic of this bachelor thesis is activization of patient in the geriatric department by a general nurse. The areas of geriatry and gerontology are described in the theoretical part, as well as characterictics of geriatric patients, geriatric frailty, and peculiarities of illnesses in old age. The second chapter focuses on the needs of patients in the geriatric department. The third chapter deals with geriatric departments themselves, their classification and a short history of their inception. The last chapter is dedicated to patient activization in the geriatric department and described selected activization methods. In the practical part, data obtained from structured interviews with general nurses from geriatric departments are analysed in order to assess their views on geriatric patient activization and what methods they use with their patients. The other goal of this part was to create a practical guide offering information on activization and prepared activities for geriatric patients.
