Tématem mé bakalářské práce je screening novorozenců, jednotlivá screeningová vyšetření a vyšetření kyčlí. Je to práce teoreticko - výzkumná. V teoretické části se zabývám otázkami, co je to novorozenecký screening, historie novorozeneckého screeningu, jednotlivá screeningová vyšetření a vyšetření kyčlí. U každého screeningového vyšetření jsem se zaměřila především na to, k čemu se daný screening používá, jak vyšetření probíhá, kdy se provádí a jak jsou výsledky screeningu hodnoceny. Ve výzkumné části jsem se zaměřila na informovanost žen v období šestinedělí na problematiku vzniku a následnou léčbu poruch kyčlí. Dále mě zajímala, celková informovanost žen týkající se fenoménu novorozeneckého screeningu.
