Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku zajišťování rovných příležitostí ve vědeckém prostředí jako formy sociální inovace, jež přispívají k obohacení vědy o potenciál žen i mužů. Teoretická část je zaměřena na obecné zajištění genderové rovnosti, na příčiny nižšího zastoupení žen ve vědě v návaznosti na ženskou dvojroli a aktivity slaďování rodinného a pracovního života. Zároveň se zabývá možnými nástroji sociální pedagogiky na podporu rovných příležitostí. Praktická část se věnuje zhodnocení genderové rovnosti akademických pracovníků na Veterinární a farmaceutické univerzitě Brno, jehož výstupem jsou návrhy konkrétních opatření na zlepšení oblasti rovných příležitostí. |

This thesis deals with the issue of ensuring equal opportunities in a scientific environment and academia as a form of social innovation, which can enrich science with the potential of men and women alike. The theoretical parts focuses on ensuring gender equality in general, on the causes of lower representation of women in science related to the dual role of women and harmonising work-life balance. It also deals with potential tools of social pedagogy to encourage equal opportunities. The practical part is dedicated to evaluating gender equality of academic staff at the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno, resulting in suggestions of specific measures to attain improvements in the equal opportunities area. |
