Diplomová práce pojednává o postoji české společnosti k patologickému hráčství. Teoretická část se věnuje pojmům jako charakteristika současné společnosti, hra a její význam pro člověka, druhy hazardu a současná právní úprava. Práce dále popisuje definici, vznik, diagnostiku a teorii vzniku závislosti. Na tyto pojmy navazuje popis efektivní léčby, terapie a dostupný systém péče o závislé v ČR. Teoretická část je ukončena prevencí a úkolem sociální pedagogiky v této oblasti. Praktický výzkum je rozdělen na dvě části. První na základě pozorování potvrzuje hypotézu, že patologickým hráčstvím je převážně postižena mužská část populace. Druhá část výzkumu se zabývá postoji, které zaujímají jedinci k hráčské závislosti a rozšíření a dostupnosti hazardu. |

The thesis discusses the stance of Czech society towards pathological gambling . The theoretical part emphasis on terms such as characteristic of current society, the game and its significance for the individual, classification of gambling and contemporary legislative policy. Furthermore the study describes definition, development, diagnosis and the theory of addiction development. This concept is followed by description of an effective treatment, therapy and the addiction recovery system available in the Czech republic. The theoretical part is summed up by the prevention and the role of social pedagogy in this field. The practical research is divided into two parts. The first part verifies hypothesis, which states that mainly male population suffers from pathological gambling, on the basis of observation. The second part of the research studies the individuals' attitude towards hazardous addiction and distribution and accessibility of gambling. |
