dc.description.abstract	Práce se zabývá vlasteneckou výchovu. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, zda vlastenecká výchova má význam v současném výchovně vzdělávacím procesu. Hodnotí význam vlastenecké výchovy v jednotlivých časových obdobích a poukazuje na nelehké historické události v Československu i České republice, kdy vlastenectví a vlastenecká výchova byli zásadní pro přežití a další směřování našeho národa. Porovnává vlasteneckou výchovu v České republice, v jednotlivých státech EU a vybraných státech světa. Poukazuje na nebezpečí vlasteneckého extremismu. V praktické části zkoumá postoj veřejnosti k otázce vlastenectví a výuky vlastenectví na Českých školách.	cs

dc.description.abstract-translated	The thesis is focused on the patriotic education and its aim is to discover if there is any reason for it to be the integral part of the educational process. Attention is paid to the significance of the patriotic education in different time periods related to the uneasy historical events of Czech Republic and Czechoslovakia ? especially those in which patriotic education was critical for the survival and future of the nation as such. The thesis is using the methodology of comparison ? the patriotic education in the Czech Republic is being compared with the EU-member states and some other states of the world. Attention is also paid to the problematic of patriotic extremism. The practical part of the thesis is focusing on the public opinion on the question of patriotic education on the Czech schools.	en
