V průběhu lidské existence a kultury, jako specificky lidském vnímání reality, si člověk vytváří vztah k životu a smrti jako dvěma pólům svého ontogenetického bytí. Tento vztah nachází odraz v etických přístupech a formulovaných etických teoriích. Ty dnešní zcela jedinečným způsobem reflektují podstatu bytí lidského jedince a dávají mu další, do této doby neznámé, konotace. Jednou z nich je přístup ke kvalitě života a zdraví a s tím související přístupy k důstojnému odchodu ze života. |
