Abstract

Práce za pomocí archivních a publikovaných fotografií i pohlednic sleduje fotografickou historii města. Ta se odvíjela v těsné souvislosti s rozvojem Baťova závodu. Rozborem a interpretací vybraných fotografií vzniká několik mikropříběhů, na kterých je ilustrována historie užité fotografie ve městě. Tato témata jsou: přeměna náměstí Míru v první pol. století, estetika demolic a nově stavěných budov, fotografická typologie typizované architektury, projevy změn politických režimů na náměstí Práce, bombardování Zlína za 2. sv. války, stavba sídliště Jižní svahy.

This work is focused on archival or published photographs and postcards. On that material, photographic history of the Zlín city is shown. That history was always in close coherence with development of the Bata's factory. Analyzing and reading photographs there rise a couple of stories on which history of applied photography in the city is illustrated. These are e.g. architectonic changes on Míru square, aesthetics of demolitions and newly build buildings, typology of unificated buildings, demonstration of political changes on Labour square, allied bombing during the world war two or newly build estate housing Jižní svahy.
