Proposal for Development of Tourism in Zlín Based on the Heritage of Tomas Bata

Abstract

Diplomová práce na téma Návrh rozvoje cestovního ruchu ve Zlíně na základě odkazu Tomáše Bati je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. Každá z těchto částí se věnuje problematice cestovního ruchu z jiného úhlu pohledu, jednotlivé části jsou vzájemně propojeny a navazují na sebe. V teoretické části práce se čtenář seznámí se základními pojmy vztahujícími se k oblasti cestovního ruchu, oblasti služeb, oblasti managementu a marketingu destinací a v neposlední řadě obsahuje také koncepci cestovního ruchu v naší zemi. Mezníkem mezi teoretickou a praktickou částí práce je kapitola popisující metodologické postupy, pomocí nichž byla realizována analytická část práce. Analytická část práce se věnuje vymezení, identifikaci, lokalizaci a dostupnosti jednotlivých baťovských památek ve Zlíně. Součástí teoretické části práce je SWOT analýza, na jejímž základě je navržena projektová část prá-ce. Projektová část práce již přináší konkrétní návrhy jak zlepšit propagaci a dostupnost baťovských památek nejen pro návštěvníky města Zlína, ale také jeho stávající obyvatele

The main objective of this diploma thesis is the proposal of tourism development in Zlín based on Thomas Bata heritage. The paper is divided into three parts. Each of these parts focuses on the question of tourism from different perspectives. The parts are linked to each other. The theoretical part defines basic concepts in the field of tourism, services, destina-tion management and marketing and the concept of tourism in the Czech Republic too. Divider between the theoretical and practical part is the chapter describing methodological procedures used within the analytical part of this thesis. The analytical part consists of clear identification, localization and availability of Bata's sights in Zlín. An integral part of the analytics is SWOT analysis, which is considered as the root of the project part. The project part describes specific suggestions on how to improve the promotion and accessibility of Bata's sights for both ? visitors of the city and its current residents too.
