Modern development of Zruč nad Sázavou and the Baťa company

Abstract

Bakalářská práce „Moderní výstavba Zruče n. S. a firma Baťa" obsahuje důkladné zmapování všech budov, které firma ve městě postavila. Je zde pojednán jak jejich stavebně-technický popis, tak východiska a kritéria, které určovala firma Baťa. Vliv firemní ideologie můžeme pozorovat nejen na architektuře staveb, ale i ve změně životního stylu obyvatel. Důležitou součástí je pohled na město jako na urbanistický projekt ideálního průmyslového města v širším okruhu soudobých urbanistických tendencí. Dalším zajímavým aspektem stavebního vývoje jsou změny spojené s proměňující se politickou situací ve 40. letech 20. století.

The bachelor thesis “The modern development of Zruč n. S. and the Baťa company“ includes a detailed survey of all buildings built by Baťa in this town. Their technical description is provided together with criteria and preconditions set by the Baťa company. The influence of the corporate ideology can not only be seen on the architecture of the buildings but also on a change of their residents' way of life. An important part is the study of Zruč itself as an urbanistic project of ideal industrial town within a context of urbanistic trends of that time. Another aspect of construction development is the social transformation due to political situation in the 1940s.
