V diplomové práci se zabývám ?rovnými příležitostmi pro muže a ženy?, vývojem v České republice a ve Spojených státech. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do čtyř částí. První tři jsou zaměřeny teoreticky a mým cílem je vysvětlit základní pojmy genderové problematiky, objasnit historický vývoj rovných příležitosti pro muže a ženy v České republice a ve Spojených státech amerických a porovnat historii obou zemí, zabývám se právní úpravou rovných příležitosti pro muže a ženy, dále poukázat na pracovní segregaci podle pohlaví a sexuální obtěžování na pracovišti jako jednu z forem diskriminace na trhu práce. Ve čtvrté části realizuji empirické šetření týkající se sexuálního obtěžování na pracovišti. Mým cílem je zjistit názory a postoje respondentů, zejména však srovnat odpovědi respondentů ze Spojených států s odpověďmi respondentů z České republiky. |

In my thesis I aimed at ?The equal rights for men and women?, the historical evolution in the Czech Republic and the United States of America. The thesis is devided into four parts. The first three parts are aimed theoretically and my object is to explain the basic concepts of gender problems, clarify historical evolution of equal rights for men and women in the Czech Republic and the USA and compare history of both countries. I also deal with the legal regulations of equal rights for men and women. Furthermore, to point out segregation in a labor market of the both sexes and sexual harassment in a work place as a possibility of discrimination in a labor market. In the fourth part I carry out empirical research regarding sexual harassment in a work place. My object is to learn the opinions and attitudes of respondents, in particular compare the answers of respondents from the United Stated of America to the answers of respondents from the Czech Republic. |
