V diplomové práci byl studován počet termofilních bakterií rozkládajících xanthan a gellan. Jako zdroje bakterií sloužily vzorky kompostů. Bylo zjištěno, že všechny použité vzorky obsahovaly degradační bakterie xanthanu a gellanu, avšak v různých počtech. Pokusy o izolaci degradačních bakterií však nebyly zcela úspěšné a byly získány bakterie, které se podílí na degradaci polysacharidů, ale jejichž přesné vlastnosti a úloha jako degradérů nebyly objasněny. |

This thesis presents an investigation of quantity of the thermophilic xanthan and gellan degrading bacteria. Three compost samples were used as the sources of such bacteria. This investigation resulted in a discovery that the composts contained both the xanthan and the gellan degrading bacteria, however their quantities were different. However, the attempts to isolate degrading bacteria in the state of pure culture(s) were not fully successful. There were obtained bacteria that participate in the polysaccharide degradation, but their exact degrading features and function were not cleared up. |
