Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na filmy režiséra Jamese Camerona Avatar a Avatar: The Way of Water. Analyzuje je po stránce technologických inovací, kterých bylo dosaženo při realizaci filmů. Věnuje se vývoji a pokroku v oblasti performance capture technologií, které jsou vyvinuty studiem W?t? FX. V praktické části se text zabývá analýzou vybraných ukázek mimiky obličeje u CGI postav avatarů Neytiri a Jacka. Výzkumná část posuzuje komparační analýzou výrazné a jemné emoce, které jsou na CGI postavách vytvořeny softwary FACETS a APFS. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda použití FACETS a APFS systémů vede k viditelným rozdílům pohyblivostí svalů mimiky obličeje postav. |

The thesis is focused on two films Avatar and Avatar: The Way of Water directed by James Cameron. The aim is to analyse technological innovations achieved in the films. The thesis explores the development and progress in performance capture technologies developed by W?t? FX studio. In the practical part, selected facial expressions of CGI characters Neytiri and Jack are analysed. The research part evaluates a comparative analysis of the strong and subtle facial expressions of the characters. These expressions are created on CGI characters by FACETS and APFS software. The aim of the thesis is to determine whether the use of FACETS and APFS systems leads to visible differences in the mobility of facial muscles of the characters. |
