dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím konceptu Smart City na území města Otrokovice. Teoretická část přibližuje základní charakteristiky regionálního a udržitelného rozvoje, popisuje problematiku konceptu Smart City a obsahuje příklady dobré praxe. Praktická část se zaměřuje na analýzu současného přístupu města Otrokovice ke konceptu Chytrého města. Součástí analýzy jsou také polostrukturované rozhovory s respondenty z Městského úřadu Otrokovice. Na základě zjištěných informací je následně navržen projekt, který by mohl rozšířit tento koncept na území města Otrokovice.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The master's thesis deals with the utilization of the Smart City concept in the city of Otrokovice. The theoretical part of thesis explains the basic characteristics of regional and sustainable development, describes issues of the Smart City concept and contain examples of good practice. The practical part of thesis analysis the city of Otrokovice and describes its current approach to the Smart City concept. The analysis also includes semi-structured interviews with respondents from the Otrokovice Municipal Authority. On the basis of this analysis is subsequently proposed a project that could extend this concept in the city of Otrokovice.
