dc.description.abstract Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou úlohy obecní policie v oblasti prevence kriminality. V teoretické části práce je představen bezpečnostní systém České republiky a bezpečnostní orgán územních samosprávných celků - obecní policie. Dále je řešena kriminalita a způsoby její prevence. Teoretický rámec je poté zasazen do profesního prostředí Městské policie Valašské Meziříčí. Aplikační část práce obsahuje bezpečnostní analýzu a Plán prevence kriminality pro město Valašské Meziříčí. K dosažení výsledku byly použity metody analýzy a nestandardizovaných rozhovorů. Bezpečnostní analýza i Plán prevence kriminality bude poskytnut k dispozici manažeru prevence kriminality města Valašské Meziříčí. Výstup práce může sloužit jako předloha pro zpracování těchto dokumentů i v dalších obcích.

dc.description.abstract-translated The thesis deals with the role of municipal police in the field of crime prevention. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the security system of the Czech Republic and the security body of local self-government units - municipal police. It also deals with crime and methods of its prevention. The theoretical framework is then set in the professional environment of the Municipal Police of Valašské Meziříčí. The application part of the thesis includes a security analysis and a Crime Prevention Plan for the city of Valašské Meziříčí. The methods of analysis and non-standardized interviews were used to achieve the result. The security analysis and the Crime Prevention Plan will be made available to the Crime Prevention Manager of the city of Valašské Meziříčí. The output of the work can serve as a template for the formulation of these documents in other municipalities.
