dc.description.abstract	Tématem bakalářské práce je pohled veřejnosti na profesi všeobecné sestry. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část ve třech kapitolách vysvětluje základní pojmy pojící se s ošetřovatelstvím, popisuje dřívější a současné vzdělávání všeobecných sester a charakterizuje profesi všeobecné sestry. Praktická část využívá kvantitativní metodu, konkrétně techniku dotazníku. Hlavním cílem praktické části je zjistit, jak veřejnost vnímá profesi všeobecné sestry, a jaké má veřejnost o této profesi povědomí. Z výsledků získaných šetřením vyplývá, že pohled veřejnosti na tuto profesi nejvíce ovlivňují samotné sestry. Profese všeobecné sestry pro veřejnost prestižní a atraktivní spíše je. Veřejnost má poměrně dobré povědomí o vzdělávání sester. Mezi veřejností převažují pozitivní zkušenosti s všeobecnými sestrami nad zkušenostmi negativními.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The topic of the bachelor thesis is the public perception of the nursing profession. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part has three chapters and explains main concepts related to the nursing, describes past and present education of general nurses and characterizes the profession of general nurse. The practical part uses the questionnaire as a quantitative method of research. The main goal of the practical part is to find out the public perception and awareness of the nursing profession. The results of the survey show that the public perception of this profession is mostly influenced by the general nurses themselves. The nursing profession is rather attractive and prestigious for the public. The public has relatively good awareness of education of general nurses. The positive experience with general nurses outweigh the negative ones among the public.
