Bakalářská práce má teoreticko-empirický charakter a zabývá se komunikací učitele v mateřské škole s dětmi s odlišným mateřským jazykem. Teoretická část sumarizuje poznatky týkající se komunikace mezi učitelem a dítětem s odlišným mateřským jazykem a také se zabývá problematikou interkulturní komunikace. V praktické části je hlavním cílem odkrýt, jak probíhá komunikace učitele s dětmi mluvícími odlišným mateřským jazykem. Výzkumné šetření je kvalitativního charakteru, bylo použito polostrukturovaného interview a nestrukturovaného pozorování. Data byla následně analyzována pomocí otevřeného kódování. Výzkumný vzorek tvořilo devět učitelek z dostupných mateřských školek ve Zlínskem kraji. Na základě analýzy dat bylo zjištěno, jak probíhá komunikace mezi učitelem a dítětem s odlišným mateřským jazykem, v jakých aspektech vnímají proces komunikace jako specifický, jaké postupy jsou uplatňovány při komunikaci a s jakými komplikacemi se učitele potýkají. |

This bachelor's thesis is theoretical-empirical and it deals with the communication of kindergarten teachers with children who have a different native language. The theoretical part summarizes findings about communication between teachers and a child with a different native language, and it also addresses the issue of intercultural communication. The practical part aims to discover how teachers communicate with children who have a different native language. The research is qualitative, and semi-structured interviews and unstructured observations were used. The data were analysed through open coding. The research sample consisted of nine teachers from available kindergartens in the Zlín Region.
