Práce je zaměřena na činnost Jednotek sboru dobrovolných hasičů obcí na okrese Žďár nad Sázavou, spolupráci s Hasičským záchranným sborem Kraje Vysočina, ale i ostatními složkami Integrovaného záchranného systému na území Kraje Vysočina. Shrnuje historii vzniku hasičských jednotek, jejich poslání, prospěšnost pro společnost, technické a materiální vybavení. Požární ochranu u nás zajišťovaly hasičské jednotky dobrovolně, později i profesionálně. Organizace jednotek požární ochrany se měnila a vyvíjela rozvojem technických možností a potřeb společnosti. |

This work is focused on Units of volunteer fire brigades activities of municipalities in the district of Žďár nad Sázavou, cooperation with the Fire and Rescue Service of the Vysočina Region as well as with other parts of the Integrated Rescue System in this region. It summarizes the history of fire brigades, their mission, benefits for society, technical and material equipment. Fire protection in our country was provided by fire brigades voluntarily and professionally afterwards.
