dc.description.abstract	Tato bakalářská práce s názvem "Diabetes mellitus a změna kognitivních funkcí" se dělí na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou obsaženy témata týkající se onemocnění diabetes mellitus, změn kognitivních funkcí a jejich vyšetření. Uvádíme zejména dva základní typy diabetu jeho diagnostiku, léčbu a komplikace spojené s tímto onemocněním. Dále zmiňujeme kognitivní funkce, příčiny a příznaky dysfunkcí. V dalším tématu popisujeme screeningové testy, které jsou určeny pro diagnostiku kognitivních dysfunkcí a Alzheimerovy nemoci. V praktické části se zabýváme screeningovým testováním pacientů s onemocněním diabetes mellitus. Také jsme si v této práci chtěli ověřit jak náročné je pro sestru screeningově vyšetřit pacienta pomocí Montrealského kognitivního testu, testu gest a testu s názvem "POBAV". Pro výzkum využíváme techniku dotazníku, pozorování a analýzy dokumentů. Výzkum je zhodnocen popisnou statistikou.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This bachelor thesis called "Diabetes mellitus and change of cognitive functions" is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains topics related to diabetes mellitus, changes in cognitive functions and their examination. In particular, we present two basic types of diabetes, its diagnosis, treatment and complications associated with this disease. We also mention cognitive functions, causes and symptoms of dysfunction. In another topic, we describe screening tests that are designed to diagnose cognitive dysfunction and Alzheimer's disease. In the practical part we deal with screening testing of patients with diabetes mellitus. We also wanted to verify how difficult it is for a nurse to screen a patient using the Montreal Cognitive Test, Gesture Test and "POBAV" test. For research we use questionnaire, observation and document analysis techniques. The research is evaluated by descriptive statistics.
