dc.description.abstract	Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou aktivního stárnutí a popisuje roli komunitních knihoven v souvislosti s aktivním stárnutím. Teoretická část vymezuje obecné pojmy týkající se aktivního stárnutí, stárnoucí populace a je orientována na strategické dokumenty. Dále se zaměřuje na charakteristiku komunitních knihoven a volnočasových aktivit pro seniory. Praktická část zkoumá postoje seniorů k roli komunitních knihoven při podpoře aktivního stárnutí ve Zlínském kraji. V závěru práce jsou prezentovány výsledky a doporučení pro praxi, které vyplynuly z kvantitativně orientovaného výzkumu prováděného prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření.

dc.description.abstract-translated	Submitted thesis deals with the issue of active aging and describes the role of community libraries in the context of active aging. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the general concepts related to active aging, aging population and is focused on strategic documents. It also focuses on the characteristics of community libraries and leisure activities for seniors. The practical part examines the attitudes of seniors towards the role of community libraries in promoting active aging in Zlín region. In conclusion, there are presented the results and recommendations for practice, which resulted from the quantitatively oriented researchcarried out through a questionnaire survey.
