dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce pojednává o vzdělávání seniorů a jejich znalostech a dovednostech v oblasti informačních a komunikačních technologií. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část je nejprve zaměřena na problematiku stáří, stárnutí a změny ve stáří. Dále se zabývá vzděláváním seniorů a jednou z jeho forem - studiem univerzity třetího věku. V závěru teoretické části jsou popsány informační a komunikační technologie, které jsou v dnešní době považovány za jeden z klíčových prvků zvyšování sociální soudržnosti společnosti. Poznatky z teoretické části slouží k seznámení s danou problematikou a k získání nezbytných informací k praktické části diplomové práce. Praktická část diplomové práce se věnuje vyhodnocení kvantitativního výzkumu, který byl realizován pomocí metody dotazníku. Cílem bylo zjistit, jak senioři dokáží ovládat a efektivně využívat informační a komunikační technologie ve svém životě a zda se v této oblasti chtějí dále vzdělávat. Výzkumné zjištění by mělo být přínosem a inspirací ke zlepšení orientace v dané problematice.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The thesis is to focus on education of seniors, primarily their knowledge and skills of information and communication technologies. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is initially focused on problems of old age, aging and changes during aging. It also deals with education of seniors with the emphasis on its forms - the study of the University of the Third Age. Information and communication technologies, which are currently considered to be one of the key elements in increasing social cohesion, have been described in the final part of the thesis. Findings from the theoretical part allow to become familiar with such issue as well as to acquire the necessary information for the practical part. The practical part of the thesis deals with the evaluation of quantitative research, which was based on the method of questionnaire. The goal was to determine how seniors can control and effectively use information and communication technologies in their lives and whether they are interested in further education in this field. Research findings should be both beneficial and inspirational to comprehend given issue.
