Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou sociální opory rodin, které pečují o dospělého člena s těžkým mentálním postižením. Teoretická část je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola je zaměřena na problematiku mentálního postižení a na osobu s těžkým mentálním postižením a jeho rodinu. Dále je přiblížena problematika zátěže a stresu. Ve druhé kapitole je rozebrána samotná sociální opora, její vymezení, druhy, zdroje a její působení na člověka v těžké životní situaci. Třetí část popisuje sociální oporu v podobě formální a neformální. Poslední kapitola je věnována shrnutí teoretické části. Navazující praktická část se pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu zaměřuje na to, jaký je pohled rodičů na jim poskytovanou sociální oporu v souvislosti s péčí o dospělého člena s těžkým mentálním postižením. |

This bachelor thesis deals with the issues relating to a social support of families that take care of an adult member with severe mental retardation. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is focused on the issue of mental retardation and a person with severe mental retardation and his family. Furthermore, we acquaint with an issue of burden and stress. In the second chapter the social support is analyzed, its definition, types, sources and its effect on a person in a difficult life situation. The third part describes formal and informal social support. The last part is devoted to a summary of the theoretical part.
