Žijeme ve společnosti, kde se lidé dožívají stále vyššího věku, a tudíž mezigenerační soudržnost se stává stále důležitějším tématem. Výzkumy ale ukazují, že tato soudržnost často nefunguje, protože chybí vzájemný respekt mezi jednotlivými generacemi. Proto jsem se v této diplomové práci zaměřil na hodnoty, které dnešní mládež uznává a na její postoje k seniorům. Cílem diplomové práce bylo popsat teorii problému - mladí v současné době stále více upřednostňují konzumní hodnoty na úkor duchovních, mladí neprojevují dostatek úcty starším lidem, diskriminační/ageistický přístup k seniorům, a to nejen mládeže, ale i celé společnosti - a na základě výzkumů stanovit či navrhnout řešení problémů, které vidím v osvětě, diskuzi a podpoře programů aktivního stárnutí. |

We live in an ageing society and that is the reason why intergenerational cohesion is becoming an increasingly important topic. Researches, however, show that this cohesion does not work, since there is a lack of respect between respective generations. This is why I have focused on young people´s values and their attitudes towards seniors in my diploma thesis. The aim of my diploma thesis was to describe the theory of the problem the young more and more prefer consumerist values to spiritual ones, young people do not show enough respect to elderly people, not only young people´s but also the whole society´s discriminatory/ageist attitude towards seniors and to set or to suggest the solutions of the problems, which, as for me, can be seen in public education, discussion or in active ageing programmes support. |
