dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce vymezuje v teoretické části pojem stáří a jeho projevy. Poukazuje na základní hodnotu lidského života související s jeho kvalitou, lidskou důstojnost. Popisuje vývoj péče o seniory v průběhu historie a postoj ke starým lidem v současnosti. Prezentuje sociální služby zaměřené na seniory a jejich právní úpravu. Zaměřuje se na adaptaci klienta v novém prostředí. Zmiňuje povinnost poskytovatelů sociálních služeb mít vypracované standardy kvality poskytovaných služeb. V praktické části je obsažen výzkum formou dotazníkového šetření, zaměřený na zjištění postojů zaměstnanců domovů pro seniory k zajištění důstojného života klientů těchto institucí.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This bachelor thesis in its theoretical part defines the concept of old age and its manifestation. It points out basic value of human life associated with its quality, human dignity. Thesis describes development of the care for the elderly in the course of history and social attitude towards elderly nowadays. It presents social services focused on elderly and its legal regulation. It focuses on clients adaptation in new environment. It points out liability of social services providers to have the "provided quality standards" drawn up. The practical part includes research done by questionnaire survey, focused on Home for the Elderly employees attitude towards dignified life being provided to its clients.
