dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce s názvem Chráněné bydlení pro osoby s mentálním postižením v Pardubickém kraji uvádí historický vývoj sociálních služeb určených pro tuto cílovou skupinu. Osoby s mentálním postižením v dřívějších dobách byly izolovány v ústavech sociální péče. Nepřicházely tak do kontaktu s ostatními zdravými jedinci. Společnost nebyla zvyklá na setkávání se s osobami s mentálním postižením. Se vznikem zákona o sociálních službách č. 108/2006, Sb. vzniká nová sociální služba, a to chráněné bydlení. Dochází tak k postupné transformaci pobytových služeb, dřívějších ústavů sociální péče. Osoby s mentálním postižením se začínají stěhovat do bytů a za pomoci pracovníků v sociálních službách začínají žít životem srovnatelným s jejich vrstevníky.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The thesis called "Sheltered houses for people with mental disability in the Pardubice region" deals with a historical development of social services for this group of people. People with mental disability were isolated in Welfare Institutes in the past, so they didn´t meet other people who weren´t disabled. Social Services Act no. 108/2006, Sb. was created and with it a new social service - sheltered houses - was established. Former Welfare Institutes were gradually transformed. People with mental disability with a help from social service workers are moving to flats and they are starting living in the same way as their peers are.
