dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou "Poskytování duchovní podpory umírajícímu". Tato práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část práce blíže popisuje pojmy smrt a umírání a popisuje potřeby umírajícího či těžce nemocného člověka. Dále charakterizuje paliativní péči a stádia umírání. V neposlední řadě je zde část, která popisuje poskytování duchovní podpory. V praktické části jsou výsledky kvantitativního průzkumu, který byl zrealizován prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření. Dotazníkové šetření bylo určeno všeobecným sestrám. Vyhodnocená data jsou zpracovány do tabulek a do grafů.

dc.description.abstract-translated	Bachelor thesis is aimed of "Providing Spiritual Support for a Dying Patient". The thesis consists of two sections: a theoretical section and a practical section. The theoretical part discusses such as terms "death" and "dying" and also analyzes needs of a dying or a terminally ill person. It also discusses palliative care and different stages in dying. Last but not least this section also explains providing spiritual support. The practical section of the thesis presents results of quantitative research based on a que-stionnaire. This research was conducted as a survey of general nurses. The data received is provided in schemes and graphs presented in the thesis.
