Kolekce Subject: man je, jak sám název napovídá, určena mužům, kteří se na několik měsíců stali předmětem mého výzkumu. Zajímalo mne především, jak souvisí dnes tolik oblíbené feminní prvky v jejich šatníku s historickým vývojem a chápáním genderových rolí. Jde pouze o trend nastolený módními tvůrci s posedlostí najít ještě něco, co společnost šokuje? Nebo se jedná o přirozený evoluční jev světa módy? Bakalářská práce tedy hledá vzájemné průniky obou pohlaví, zároveň se však snaží určit pomyslné hranice maskulinity a feminity, jak jsou chápány společností. Výsledkem je nenásilná kombinace ženských i mužských principů v oděvu, která se projevuje nápaditými, avšak nenápadnými prvky. Umožňuje tak svým nositelům být trendy, projevit svou jemnější stránku osobnosti, zároveň si však zachovat své mužné dekorum. |

"Subject: man" is a menswear collection, which have become the object of my research for several months. I have been mainly interested in coherency among feminine elements in menswear, which are very popular nowadays, and historical development of understanding gender roles. Is this only a trend, set by fashion designers obssessed with finding something that could be shoking for society? Or is it a natural way in menswear fashion world? In my bachelor thesis I am looking for mutual intersections of both sexes. However simultaneously trying to determine the imaginary boundaries of masculinity and feminity. The result is an effortless combination of masculine and feminine principles in clothing, which are subtle and not superficial. This collection allows to be trendy, shows subtle aspects of individuality, but preserves own manly decorum at the same time. |
