Diplomová práce se zabývá systémem sociální ochrany osamělého rodiče a mírou poskytované ochrany v tomto systému. Teoretická část vymezuje základní pojmy, jako je rodina, osamělý rodič, sociální politika a sociální ochrana. Definována je rodina a její funkce, současné postavení rodiny. Vymezen je pojem osamělý rodič, příčiny osamělého rodičovství, specifika sociálních rolí a životní podmínky osamělého rodiče. Jsou definovány základní pojmy ze sociální politiky, a to principy, cíle a nástroje sociální politiky. Systém sociální ochrany je zkoumán s ohledem na to, jaké poskytuje možnosti ochrany rodině a osamělému rodiči. Cílem praktické části je prozkoumat, v jaké míře je sociální ochrana osamělým rodičům poskytována, jak osamělí rodiče vnímají míru sociální ochrany státu, hodnocena je dostupnost nástrojů sociální ochrany, jejich využití či míra dostupnosti informací o možnostech sociální ochrany. Výzkum je realizován formou případové studie. |

The thesis is focused on the system of social protection of a single parent and the extent of provided protection in this system. The theoretical part specifies terms such as family, single parent, social politics and social protection. The terms family and its function and current position of a family are defined. The concept of a single parent, causes of single parenthood, specifics of social roles and living conditions of a single parent are specified. Basic terminology of social politics, namely principles, aims and instruments of social politics are defined. The system of social protection is analyzed regarding what possibilities of protection it provides to a family and a single parent. The aim of the practical part is to examine to what extent single parents are provided with social protection, how single parents perceive the extent of state social protection; the availability of social protection instruments is evaluated as well as the extent of their utilization or the rate of availability of information on possibilities of social protection. The research is realized as a case study. |
