dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce je zaměřena na bydlení současných seniorů a předpokládaný vývoj v této oblasti u nás a v některých zemích Evropy. Praktická část je zaměřena na výzkum kvality života seniorů ve dvou diametrálně rozdílných domovech. Jeden z domovů je tradiční, poskytující domov a péči ve starých budovách, které se podle možností rekonstruují a přizpůsobují současným potřebám seniorské populace. Druhý domov je nový, velmi moderní, stavěný již podle současných požadavků na bydlení seniorů. Analýza rozhovorů s respondenty a pozorování je podkladem pro určitou komparaci života seniorů v těchto rozdílných domovech. Výzkum by měl prokázat, jak důležitou roli má prostředí na vnímání kvality života seniorů.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The thesis is focused on the housing of the current seniors and future developments in this area in our country and in some European ones. The practical part is focused on the research of the quality of life of the elderly in two diametrically different homes. One of the homes is a traditional one, providing housing and home care in the old buildings, which are according to the possibilities adapted to the current needs of the senior population. The second home is a new, very modern one, built by the current requirements for housing of the elderly. The analysis of the interviews with respondents and the observations are the basis for the comparison of the life of the seniors in those retirement homes. The research should demonstrate how important role the environment has on the perception of the quality of life of the elderly.
