dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce se zabývá postojem majoritní společnosti k lidem s mentálním postižením. Teoretická část objasňuje pojem, příčiny vzniku a klasifikaci mentální retardace, popisuje psychické zvláštnosti těchto osob. V praktické části je prezentován kvalitativní výzkum. Zjišťuje postoj majoritní společnosti k lidem s mentálním postižením při jejich začlenění do běžného života společnosti v rámci procesu transformace sociálních služeb.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This diploma thesis deals with the attitude of majority of society towards mentally challenged persons. Theoretical part clarifies the term, causes and classification of mental retardation, describes the psychological specificity of these individuals. Practical section presents the qualitative research. It ascertains the attitude of the majority of society to mentally challenged persons during the process of their integration into society's normal life within the framework of social services transformation process.
