dc.description.abstract	Hlavním tématem této diplomové práce je vnímání pocitu bezpečnosti a práce obecní policie občany. Práce objasňuje a charakterizuje pojem bezpečnost, seznamuje s bezpečnostním systémem ČR a rozebírá bezpečnost jako rozměr kvality života. Představuje působnost a činnost obecní policie a blíže specifikuje jednotlivé povinnosti a oprávnění strážníka. Dále se zabývá rysy současné společnosti, vztahy a postoji občanů k obecní policii a popisuje aktivity Městské policie Hlinsko v mikroregionu Hlinecko. Součástí diplomové práce je i výzkum vztahující se k postojům občanů k obecní policii, konkrétně jak občané vnímají práci Městské policie Hlinsko. Práce je určena pro řadové i vrchní strážníky obecních policií. Její výsledky mohou posloužit k tomu, jak může policie svojí činností naplňovat očekávání veřejnosti nejen jako nástroj státní represe, ale také jako služba občanovi.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The main topic of this thesis is the perception of safety and the work of local police by citizens. The work illustrates and describesthe concept of security, introduces the security system of the Czech Republic and discusses security as a dimension of quality of life. Represents the scope and activities of the municipal police and specifies the specific duties and privileges officer. It also deals with features of contemporary society, relationships and attitudes of citizens to local police and describes the activities of the city police Hlinsko in the area of microregion Hlinecko. The thesis is research related to the attitudes of citizens to local police, specifically how citizens perceive the work of the city police Hlinsko. The work is intended for upper row and municipal police officers. The results may be used to how the police's actions meet public expectations not only as an instrument of state repression, but also as a service to the citizen
