ZLÍN ET CLERMONT-FERRAND: parallele étonnant?

Abstract

V této práci jsem se zabývala dvěma městy, Zlínem a Clermont-Ferrand a dvěma firmami, které se v těchto městech zrodily, Baťou a Michelinem. Na začátku práce jsem se zaměřila na seznámení s městy a to jak po geografické, tak po historické stránce. U měst jsem pak vyzdvihla jejich podobnost a to i tu kuriózní. Dále jsem se objektivním způsobem zabývala firmami. Začala jsem vznikem společností, souvisejícím s následným rozvojem měst a postupně přešla na unikátní systém řízení aplikovaný jak ve firmě Baťa, tak ve firmě Michelin. Mým hlavním cílem bylo zjistit, do jaké míry se tyto dvě firmy svým propracovaným sociálním systémem podílely ne rozvoji života nejen svých zaměstnanců ale všech obyvatel města a celkově na vybudování a rozvoji měst. V průběhu celé práce jsem se snažila vystihnout hlavní podobnosti nejen mezi těmito městy, ale především mezi firmami.

In this thesis I dealt with two cities, Zlín and Clermont-Ferrand, and two companies which were in these cities established, Baťa and Michelin. The first part of this thesis focused on introduction of these cities from geographical and historical point of view. I highlighted similarities of these two cities, even the quaint ones. In an objective way, I focused on the two companies. Firstly, on their establishment which is connected to the development of both cities and I continued with their rare system of management applied both in Baťa and Michelin. The main objective was to discover to what degree did these two companies, by means of their elaborate social system, contribute to the development of lives not only of their employees but also lives of all citizens and generally to the construction and development of these two cities. In the thesis I aimed to describe main similarities not only between these cities but primarily between the companies.
