Funkční kožní bariéra představuje nezastupitelnou úlohu při trvalém udržování vody v pokožce. Poruchy hydratačních mechanismů vytváří podmínky pro rozvoj nežádoucích patologických stavů na kůži. K reparaci kožního povrchu mohou napomoci kosmetické prostředky obsahující účinné aktivní látky podporující hydrataci. Jedním z významných humektantů je právě močovina, jejíž účinky byly studovány při aplikaci komerčně dostup-ných kosmetických prostředků na ruce in vivo instrumentálními metodami. |
