Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou stáří a stárnutí. Teoretická část se věnuje definování základních pojmů souvisejících s procesem stárnutí, jako jsou aspekty stárnutí, gerontologie, geriatrie, potřeby a charakteristiky seniorů. Dále popisuje základní lidské potřeby, objasňuje pojem kvalita života, podává přehled o současném systému péče o seniory, o sociálních službách, seznamuje s pobytovým zařízením a jeho personálem a rozebírá druhy adaptace. Praktická část zjišťuje důležitost a subjektivní spokojenost ve vybraných oblastech života klientů v Domově pro seniory ?Hvězda? Malenovice. Závěr je věnován analýze výsledků získaných z dotazníkového šetření. |

The bachelor thesis deals with problems of old age and aging. The theoretical part deals with defining basic concepts related to the aging process such as aspects of aging, geron-tology, geriatrics, needs and characteristics of the elderly. It also describes basic human needs, clarifies the concept of quality of life, provides an overview of the current system of seniors care, social services, introduces retirement homes and their staff and discusses types of adaptation. The practical part investigates the importance and subjective satisfac-tion in selected areas of life of clients in the Retirement home ?Hvězda? Malenovice. The conclusion is devoted to the analysis of the results obtained from the survey. |
