dc.description.abstract	Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku seniorské populace v České republice. V úvodu se zabývá charakteristikou stáří a stárnutí a změnami, které zvyšující se věk přináší. Soustřeďuje se na specifika péče o seniory a možnosti poskytování pomoci prostřednictvím sociálních služeb určených této věkové kategorii. Věnuje se konkrétním problémům vyskytujícím se v souvislosti se seniory a pokouší se najít alternativy řešení v konkrétních případech i v rámci celé společnosti s ohledem na možnosti, které v této oblasti může poskytnout sociální pedagogika, respektive sociální pedagog. Součástí praktické části je výzkum, jehož účelem bylo zjištění uplatnění sociálního pedagoga v zařízeních pro seniory a potvrzení potřebnosti sociálně pedagogického přístupu ke starým lidem.	cs

dc.description.abstract-translated	The thesis focuses on the senior population in the Czech Republic. The introduction deals with the characteristics of old age and ageing, and changes that increasing age brings.It focuses on the specifics of care for the elderly and the possibility of providing assistance trough social services for this age group. It deals with the specific problems occurring in connection with seniors and it tries to find alternative solutions in specific cases as well as in whole society with regard to the possibilities in this field that can be provided by social education, or social educator. The practical part of the thesis is the research, the purpose of which was to determine the role of social pedgogue in facilities for seniors and to confirm the need for socio-pedagogical approach to old people.	en
