Diplomová práce, Postoj veřejnosti k lidem s mentální retardací, se v teoretické části zaměřuje na člověka s mentálním postižením ve společenském kontextu. Dále se teoretická část zabývá sociálním systémem v azylových zařízeních pro lidi s mentálním postižením. Empirická část pojednává o výzkumu v oblasti postojů laické veřejnosti k lidem s mentálním postižením v azylových zařízeních pro tyto osoby a postojů zaměstnanců těchto institucí. Práce se zaměřuje na postoje veřejnosti k jednotlivým mýtům o lidech s mentálním postižením, azylových zařízeních a pracovnících těchto zařízení. V neposlední řadě se práce zaměřuje také na obecnou přijatelnost mentálně postižených osob laickou veřejností a jejich sociální status. |

Thesis, public attitudes towards people with mental retardation in the theoretical part focuses on people with mental disabilities in a social context. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the social system in asylum facilities for people with intellectual disabilities. Then the practical part of this work concern research in area of nonprofessional public attitudes towards inmates with mental retardation, asylum center for this people and also towards employees. All is focused on attitudes of the public towards myths about mental retarded people, asylum centers and workers of these centers. And last but not least this diploma thesis discusses general plausibility of people with mental retardation among ordinary population and social status of these fellow citizens as well. |
