Bakalářská práce se zabývá kvalitou života ve stáří. Teoretická část popisuje charakteristiku stárnutí a stáří, věnuje se změnám ve stáří a charakteristickým rysům starých lidí. Věnuje se možnostem, které senioři mají, jak se k nim staví společnost, jaké mají potřeby, je zde zmíněn i ageismus. Současně je zde uvedeno, jakým způsobem se mohou senioři vzdělávat, uplatnit a jak mohou trávit volný čas. Praktická část je zaměřena na otázku kvality života seniorů žijících v domácím prostředí a seniorů žijících v domově pro seniory z pohledu samotných seniorů. Výzkum je zaměřen především na srovnání těchto dvou skupin. |

This bachelor thesis deals with the quality of life in old age. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of ageing process and old age, it is devoted to the changes in old age and the characteristic features of old people. It deals with the possibilities which senior citizens have, what attitude the society takes towards them, what needs they have, ageism is mentioned here as well. It is also mentioned how seniors can learn, succeed and how they can spend their leisure time. The practical part is focused on the quality of life of senior citizens living in the home environment and elderly living in retirement houses from the perspective of older people themselves. The research is focused especially on comparison of the views of these two groups. |
