dc.description.abstract	Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou povyšování obcí v České republice na města. Jejím cílem je v teoretické rovině charakterizovat územně samosprávní celky v ČR a jejich historický vývoj. V souvislosti s těmito územními celky pak vysvětlit pojmy, které v jejich vývoji hrají důležitou roli. V praktické části se tato práce zaměřuje na obyvatele města Letovice, kteří hodnotí kriteria, která jsou posuzována předsedou poslanecké sněmovny, při předložení žádosti obce k povýšení na město.	cs

dc.description.abstract-translated	This thesis deals with the promotion of municipalities to the cities in the Czech Republic. It aims to the local government units in the CR in theoretical level and characterize their historical development. According to these local units it explains the concept that in their development play an important role. In the practical part of this work focuses on the city's inhabitants Letovice who evaluate the services sector and community facilities, which are assessed by Speaker of the House of Commons with town requesting of promotion the municipality to the city.	en
