Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem hodnocení možností svobodného rozhodování uživa-telů organizace poskytující ambulantní a pobytové sociální služby lidem s mentálním po-stižením. Teoretická část práce se věnuje mentálnímu postižení, právům lidí s mentálním postižením a sociálním službám, charakteristikou totálních institucí a transformací pobyto-vých sociálních služeb. V praktické části práce je popsán smíšený výzkum realizovaný ve vybrané organizaci, jehož cílem je zjistit, jak je v zařízení uplatňováno právo na svo-bodné rozhodování uživatelů. Na základě vyhodnocení výsledků výzkumu jsou navržena doporučení pro management a pracovníky organizace, které mají vést ke zvýšení možností svobodného rozhodování uživatelů zařízení. |

This diploma thesis looks into a topic of evaluation of possibilities of free decision making by customers of organisation providing out-patient and in-patient social services to men-tally ill people. The theoretical part of my work addresses mental illness, rights of people with mental illness, social services, characteristics of total institutions and transformation of in-patient social services. In the practical part a research carried out in a particular orga-nization is described. The aim of this research was to find out how the right to a free deci-sion making is being applied in the above mentioned organisation. On the basis of results evaluations, recommendations are proposed to management and other staff of the organi-sation. These recommendations are supposed to lead to enhancing the possibility of free decision making of their customers. |
