V diplomové práci se zabývám vývojem rovných příležitostí pro ženy a muže ve světě a v České republice. Tato práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První tři patří do teoretické oblasti. Mým cílem je vysvětlit základní pojmy, seznámit s historickým vývojem rovných příležitostí mužů a žen v České republice, Slovenské republice a v Rakousku. Následuje kapitola, ve které píši o zastoupení žen v politice ve výše uvedených státech a srovnávám jejich postoje k této problematice. Problém domácího násilí na ženách je hlavním tématem třetí kapitoly, opět v kontextu všech tří vybraných zemí. Čtvrtou část věnuji empirickému šetření. Cílem průzkumu je zjistit, jaké je povědomí o problematice postavení žen a mužů ve společnosti, zejména zaměřené na domácí násilí páchané na ženách a také přístupu žen k politickému rozhodování. |

In the thesis I focus on the development of equal opportunities for women and men abroad and in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into four sections. First three sections cover theoretical area. The objective of the thesis is to explain basic terms, to outline the historical evolution of equal treatment of men and women in the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic and Austria. The last chapter focuses on the representation of women in politics in the above mentioned states and an analysis of their approaches to the issue is also included. Domestic violence against women in the context of the above stated countries is the focus of the third chapter. The fourth chapter is an empirical study. The principal objective of the thesis is to find out what the general awareness of the social status of men and women is, with a particular focus on domestic violence against women and women?s attitude towards political decision-making. |
