dc.description.abstract-translated The bachelor thesis focuses on the perception of the FoMO effect in marketing communication and its different effects on different generations. The aim is to find out whether Generation X and Generation Z perceive this effect differently. A qualitative research method is used to achieve the objective. The practical part consists of an analysis of six advertising spots followed by a thematic analysis of semi-structured interviews with participants from both generations. The results show that Generation Z reacts more frequently and intensively to FoMO elements in advertising than Generation X. The paper provides insights into how different age groups perceive urgency in marketing and offers a basis for its sensitive application in practice.
