dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou vztahu mezi lidskou spokojeností v podobě nově vytvořeného indexu štěstí a výkonností ekonomiky, charakterizovanou hrubým domácím produktem. V úvodní části jsou objasněny klíčové pojmy, související s tématem štěstí - zejména historie, možné determinanty a koncepce, zabývající se jeho definicí a vnímáním. Představeny jsou v obecné rovině i další ukazatelé, jež jsou zaměřeny na kvantifikaci štěstí. Dále je vypracována metodika tvorby indexu, na kterou v praktické části navazuje její realizace. Součástí praktické části je také vypracování přehledu makroekonomických ukazatelů pro jednotlivé země V4 kvůli následnému srovnání vývoje HDP s výsledky nově zkonstruovaného indexu štěstí. Pro komplexnější pohled na danou problematiku je v závěrečném srovnání a interpretaci dosažených výsledků zohledněn také vývoj ekonomického sentimentu, jemuž je pozornost věnována také v literární rešerši.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The diploma thesis deals with the relationship between human satisfaction in form of newly created happiness index and performance of economy characterized by gross domestic product. Firstly, the key concepts related to the topic of happiness are clarified - especially history, its possible determinants, concepts dealing with its definition and perception and other indicators aimed at quantifying happiness. Secondly, the methodology of the index creation is drawn up and further implemented in the practical part. The practical part also includes an overview of macroeconomic indicators for individual V4 countries for subsequent comparison of GDP development with the results of the newly constructed happiness index. For a more comprehensive view of the issue, the final comparison and interpretation of the results také into account the development of economic sentiment, which is addressed in the literature review.
