dc.description.abstract	Hlavním cílem diplomové práce bylo zpracování benchmarkingové studie pomocí metod finanční analýzy a navržení vhodných doporučení vedoucích ke zlepšení finančního zdraví a výkonnosti vybraného podniku. Práce je rozdělená do dvou částí. Teoretická část se zaměřovala na rešerší literárních zdrojů a následného zpracování teoretických znalostí z oblasti finanční výkonnosti (finanční analýza, hodnotový ukazatel EVA) a benchmarkingu. V úvodu praktické části byl představen zkoumaný podnik Sýček společně s odvětvím, do kterého spadá. V rámci benchmarkingové studie byla finanční výkonnost podniku srovnána s vybranými konkurenčními společnostmi. V závěru praktické části byla navržena doporučení pro zvýšení výkonnosti podniku společně s kroky nutnými pro zařazení benchmarkingu do náplně práce podniku.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The main objective of the thesis was to process benchmarking study using methods of financial analysis and to suggest appropriate recommendations leading to improvement of financial performance and health of the selected company. The thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part was focused on analysis of literature and following description of topics based on financial performance (financial analysis, EVA indicator) and benchmarking. The practical part introduced us the selected company Sýček and industrial sector where the company belongs. In a benchmarking study, the company's financial performance was compared with selected competition. At the end of the practical part recommendations for the increase of company's performance were proposed as well as the description of steps necessary to include benchmarking in the scope of work of the selected company.
