dc.description.abstract	Teoretická část popisuje vznik a vývoj filmového žánru western. Zabývá se jednotlivými snímky jak v Americe, tak i v Evropě. Také popisuje přístup jednotlivých autorů k tomuto žánru. V neposlední řadě mapuje i animovaný westernový film. V praktické části popisuje postup při práci na bakalářském animovaném filmu s názvem Thorny Hole.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This theoretical part of the bachelor thesis describes the formation and the development of Western as a film genre. The thesis deals with individual films both in the USA and in Europe. It also describes the attitude of individual authors to this genre. Lastly, it describes the animated western movie. The working procedure of the bachelor animated movie called "Thorny Hole" is described in the practical part of the thesis.
