dc.description.abstract	Práce se v teoretické části zabývá významem kynologie, vývojem služební kynologie na našem území v době Rakouska - Uherska po začátek 90. let, nejpoužívanějšími služebními plemeny a obecnou charakteristikou bezpečnostních sborů České republiky. Také je zde souhrn všech bezpečnostních sborů České republiky a ostatních ozbrojených, bezpečnostních a záchranných složek České republiky využívající služební psy ve prospěch ochrany obyvatelstva. Na závěr teoretické části je samostatná kapitola věnující se možným uplatněním psů v boji proti Covidu - 19. Praktická část je zaměřená na vyhodnocení problematiky služební kynologie u Policie České republiky a návrhům na zlepšení stávajícího stavu.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This diploma thesis follows up the importance of cynology, the development of service cynology in our area from the period of Austria - Hungary to the beginning of ninethies years, the most common professional breeds and general charasteristic of security forces of the Czech Republic. There is also a summary of all security forces of the Czech Republic and other armed, safety and rescue services of the Czech Republic using professional dogs because of population protection here. Finally in the theoretical part there is an individual chapter dealing with a possibility of use dogs in fight against Covid - 19. The practical part is focused on evaluation of the issue of security forces cynology of the Police of the Czech Republic and I suggest advices to improve the present situation.
